VERSACE

There are many sources that provide us inspiration and we should be aware of what sources they are in order to come up with them whenever we need so. Personally, male fashion clothing collections are something that I enjoy to see to feel inspired about the "dressing up" subject in a very real way. What I want to mean with "real way" is that sometimes women's collection are full of wonderful and astonishing dresses, but unless you have few thousand euros you won't be able to find something at least a little bit similar to them and of course, in this case of amazing dresses, they do provide huge amounts of inspiration to anybody who sees them (surely including me) so at the end we might be able to get the idea of the collection, colors, fabrics and basic aesthetic to look for certain items, that are actually not dresses, that have either of those elements without transforming the collection main idea but indeed the material. Meanwhile, most of the items presented on men's collection are more prone to be found and to be put on practice in reality. In this post I present some pictures of the looks shown by five fashion houses whose proposes I liked the most for different reasons. 

One of the collections that I liked the most is this one by Versace. The wonderful master Donatella has this special factor that can so easily leave me amazed, the current men's spring and summer collection 2013 left me speechless as soon as I saw it last year and this new collection had the same effect on me. There's no doubt that the Versace man is very elegant but without giving up coolness. I like so much all the different prints in this collection. We can see the black and white trend bomb, lace, transparencies, polish shapes, baggy shapes, kind of geometric prints and of course, those baroque ornaments that are so typical of this amazing fashion house, so I really think this collection was full of diversity and therefore I think it is enchanting!

Hay muchas fuentes que nos proveen inspiración y debemos estar conscientes de cuáles son esas fuentes para poder recurrir a ellas cada vez que así lo necesitemos. Personalmente, las colecciones de ropa para hombres son algo que realmente disfruto ver para sentirme inspirada en cuestión de vestir en una manera muy real. Y lo que quiero decir con "manera real" es que en ocasiones las colecciones para mujeres están llenas de hermosos e increíbles vestidos, pero a menos que tengas unos tantos miles de euros no podrás encontrar algo por lo menos un poco similar y por supuesto, en este caso de los maravillosos vestidos, proveen grandes cantidades de inspiración a quienes los aprecian (seguramente incluyéndome a mí), así que al final somos capaces de entender la idea de la colección, los colores, las telas, y la estética básica para buscar algunos artículos, que de hecho no son vestidos, y que tengan alguno de esos elementos sin transformar la idea principal de la colección pero sí la materia, es decir, acabamos tal vez con un pantalón que tenga algún elemento que hemos visto en cierto vestido, de esos fabulosos, porque realmente no existe un sustituto digno del vestido en cuestión. Mientras, la mayoría de los artículos presentados en las colecciones de hombres son más propensas a ser encontradas y a ser puestos en práctica en la realidad. En este post presento algunas imágenes de algunos looks mostrados por cinco casas de moda cuyas propuestas, por diferentes razones, han sido mis favoritas.

Una de las colecciones que más me gustó es ésta de Versace. La Maravillosa maestra Donatella tiene este factor especial que fácilmente me puede dejar asombrada, la actual colección de hombres primavera-verano 2013 me dejó boquiabierta tan pronto como la vi el año pasado y, este año, esta nueva colección tuvo el mismo efecto en mí. No hay duda alguna de que el hombre Versace es muy elegante pero sin dejar de lado la buena onda. Me gustan mucho todos los diferentes estampados que se han presentado. Podemos ver la tendencia bomba del blanco y negro, encaje, transparencias, formas limpias, formas amplias, estampados un tanto geométricos y, por supuesto, esos adornos barrocos tan típicos de esta magnífica cada de moda, así que realmente pienso que esta colección estuvo llena de diversidad y es por ello que pienso que es increíble!

BURBERRY

Next we have some very classic and elegant shapes with the Burberry man. Christopher Bailey has presented a very sleek collection where hearts, leopard and tiger prints are perfectly combined in such a polish way in sunglasses, bags and shoes. The red lenses where such a statement factor in the frames and the glossiness such a delicious addition to some of the coats.

A continuación tenemos formas muy clásicas y elegantes con el hombre Burberry. Christopher Bailey ha presentado una colección de líneas puras donde corazones y estampados de leopardo y de tigre se combinan perfectamente de manera tan limpia en lentes de sol, bolsos y zapatos. Los lentes rojos fueron un factor sobresaliente en los armazones y el brillo ha sido una deliciosa adición a algunos de los abrigos.

DOLCE & GABBANA

Two of the elements that did absolutely predominate at the Dolce & Gabbana collection were religious and antique motives. I find this collection as the sequel of last year's one, not because of any baroque embellishment but because there's still a touch of nostalgia. My favorite piece of the collection is the yellow sweater (or maybe it is a top) with beautiful ornaments. There were lots of holiness and lots of flowers. Velvet is a fabric that highlighted in the collection, which means that will still on trend next year. One thing that I really like about this show is the fact that Domenico and Stefano chose a very real model, breaking the stereotype that only very good-looking men can lead the runway and deepening that beauty can come in many envelopes and not in just one. 

Dos de los elementos que absolutamente predominaron en la colección de Dolce & Gabbana fueron motivos religiosos y antiguos. Encuentro esta colección como una secuela de la del año pasado, no por ningún adorno barroco sino porque sigue habiendo un toque de nostalgia. Mi pieza favorita de la colección es el sweater amarillo (o tal vez es un top) con hermosos adornos. Hubo mucha santidad y muchas flores. El terciopelo es una tela que sobresalió, lo cual significa que seguirá en tendencia el próximo año. Una de las cosas que en verdad me gustó sobre este desfile, es el hecho de que Domenico y Stefano hayan elegido a un modelo muy real, rompiendo con el estereotipo de que sólo los hombres muy bien parecidos pueden estar al mando de la pasarela y profundizando que la belleza puede venir en muchas envolturas y no sólo en una.

EMPORIO ARMANI

I find this new Giorgio's collection absolutely flawless and perfection is the best word to describe it. That very elegant and futuristic vibe gives so much strength to this Armani man . It is targeted to the modern man and that's definitely what this collection is, modern. I adore the minimal and straight lines that provide this wonderful work with such a perfect touch of sleekness. The accessories also highlighted with the different frames proposed and, as an opposite point to Dolce & Gabbana's show, Giorgio went for the perfect stereotype of men.  

  Encuentro esta nueva colección de Giorgio absolutamente magnífica y perfección es la mejor palabra que puede describirla. Ese aire tan elegante y futurista le da mucha fuerza a este hombre Armani. Está dirigida al hombre moderno y definitivamente eso es lo que esta colección es, moderna. Adoro las líneas rectas y minimalistas que proveen a este maravilloso trabajo de un perfecto toque de pulcritud. Los accesorios también resaltaron con los diferentes lentes de sol propuestos y, como punto opuesto al desfile de Dolce &Gabbana, Giorgio optó por el estereotipo del hombre perfecto.
